EHG_drawing-webEmily Garfield is a Somerville-based artist known for her intricate pen and watercolor maps of places that don’t exist, as well as animation and other digital and multimedia projects examining the networks within natural and human patterns. Emily was the 2014 coordinator of the Somerville Open Studios city-wide arts event, and currently serves on the SOS board; she is also a board member of Artisan’s Asylum, the makerspace where she creates her work.
