Tess Harper

Net Impact Board Fellow, 2018
Governance Committee Member

Tess is a recent Boston transplant with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke (AB ‘15). Her work has spanned across agriculture, technology and business acceleration, with a focus on data analysis and research. Most recently she was in Zambia, working with a business development consultancy specializing in shared value to strengthen agricultural value chains and rural livelihoods. Prior to that, Tess supported a DC-based tech accelerator, Conservation X Labs, to launch an open innovation challenge for aquaculture and oceans conservation.

In her free time, Tess enjoys urban farming and plans to build her own small, raised-bed in 2018 (spring weather permitting!). As native Texan, she is an avid seeker of Tex-Mex fare and welcomes any and all suggestions for Boston’s best taco spots.
