A Decision on BevArt

We just received a call from Mayor Cahill letting us know that he did not choose the BevArt proposal. First and foremost, we’d like to say a heart(h)felt thank you to the many, many individuals and businesses who wrote letters of support for our proposal to create a hub for the artistic community in Beverly.

The City was impressed by the proposal and especially by the outpouring of support it received. With your help, we made a real impression about the deep demand for affordable creative work space in Beverly. We will be sitting down with the Mayor and Aaron Clausen, the town planner, to discuss possible other sites in Beverly before the holiday break.

We’ve also already sat down with Mayor Bettencourt in Peabody to discuss two possible sites there. Either way, we want you to know that at Miranda’s Hearth we’re dedicated to building creative infrastructure on the North Shore that makes art more approachable, affordable, and accessible.

We’re looking forward to working with each of you to make that happen in 2020!
