Meghan 2 2010What’s your story?

I grew up in southern Massachusetts, getting addicted to math and logic puzzles and becoming quite the nerd. Sometime after my first year of college I decided math was no longer for me and eventually found photography. Eventually discovered I am an avid feminist and recently figured out I am gay. I have been getting more and more into the art community in Boston, which is a wonderful place to be right now.

What do you make?

I am a photographer, but I love to cross stitch and occasionally crochet or make friendship bracelets. In the past I have made 3D objects by layering images and cutting parts out, and I am thinking of getting back into that soon. I love to contra dance (and club dance, but that’s a different story) and I play a bit of piano.

How did you get involved in Miranda’s Hearth?

I heard about through one of the other members who I told about my photography. They invited me to one of the events, and the rest is history!
