“Miranda Writes” article in the Somerville Scout

At the very end of the launch for Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something back in June of 2013, two guys walked into Union Press.  They flipped through the book, listened to some music, and looked at the Something City (a community art project in the center of the room).

In the end, one of them introduced himself.  Nick Cox, a writer for the Somerville Scout.  In the next couple of weeks, Nick came over and interviewed me for what become this article.  Over the next few months I got to know Nick and Shef, the photographer who came with him, better.  I also started carrying around a copy of the magazine because whenever I was selling books at an event in Somerville at least one person would say, “You look familiar…”

Just goes to show that sometimes one thing really does lead to another.
