What’s your story?
I’m a Bangladeshi musician from Dhaka. I grew up surrounded but music and culture but unaware of how much of it was me, till I went to the UK to study law and economics. Whilst doing my BA there I realized a huge part of me (my band, school ensembles) was missing and ended up spending hours jamming with new people and making songs. After much soul searching the answer seemed to be the only path to my happiness was to immerse myself in music full time. The rest is well, the present!
What do you make?
I make songs and connections, All the projects I’ve done so far have always been interlaced with getting to know personally and musically other people as well as myself. I love people, I sing for them and live for them.
How did you get involved in Miranda’s Hearth?
I met Miranda at a show, and was instantly charmed by her presence. Afterwards we hung out and exchanged ideas and plans and here I am!
