Meet Cissa!

We’re excited to welcome Cissa Dieleman to the Hearth Board of Directors! Cissa’s experience in public relations, social media, political consulting, and fundraising will be essential as we continue to develop a proposal for Briscoe Middle School in Beverly, MA.

ABOUT CISSA

In May 2018, Cissa joined Tech Networks of Boston (TNB) as the Corporate Social Responsibility Administrator. Since that time, she has expanded her role to include the management of digital marketing campaigns for Tech Networks, project management support, and being the steward for all of TNB’s sustainability efforts both internally and externally. Her mission is to build upon TNB’s existing framework to ensure that the company is operating in a sustainable and socially responsible manner.

In one of her most recent roles, she was tasked with the creation of a website framework for Swing Left Greater Boston in preparation for the mid-term elections. She managed a small team and worked to create a website that the group could use to recruit and inform volunteers for grassroots canvasing efforts.

She has an extensive background as a Political Consultant and Fundraiser across political campaigns, non-profits, and foundations. She has particular expertise in public relations and social media management, which she has honed over many different industries.

Before her time at TNB, she was recruited as a Campaign Manager by a political consulting firm where she led the charge in creating content for her candidate’s online platforms and managing their messaging. She was also a copy editor for the firm and created and edited mail pieces for over 50 candidates across the state.

Cissa earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations from Iowa State University and a degree in International Affairs and French Language from Moscow State University.
